Job Description

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented HR Executive to manage key HR functions and maintain personnel records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day HR operations, including leave and attendance management, recruitment, onboarding, and employee communication. The HR Executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with HR policies and supporting employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leaves and Attendance Management:
    • Monitor and maintain accurate employee attendance records.
    • Oversee the leave management system, ensuring timely approvals, accurate tracking, and compliance with company policies.
  • HR Reporting and Documentation:
    • Update and maintain HR reports, including attendance, timekeeping, and other employee-related data.
    • Prepare monthly HR reports for management review.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Screen resumes and evaluate candidates based on qualifications and experience.
    • Conduct in-person and phone interviews to assess candidates' skills and cultural fit.
    • Coordinate the entire recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, managing offer letters, and conducting reference checks.
    • Handle the offer process, ensuring smooth communication with candidates and timely follow-up.
  • Employee Communication and Documentation:
    • Prepare confirmation emails, offer letters, appointment letters, and confirmation letters after probation periods.
    • Ensure all HR documents are accurately drafted, maintained, and stored.
    • Manage the orientation and onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
    • Provide guidance and support to new employees during their first few weeks.
  • HR Record Management:
    • Maintain up-to-date HR and personnel records, including contracts, performance appraisals, and other essential documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Support the HR team in fostering a positive workplace culture.
    • Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives and maintaining effective communication across teams.
  • General HR Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
    • Assist with various HR functions, including performance management, training, and development.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the luxury retail or furniture industry.
    • Strong understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, attendance management, and employee records.
  • Skills Required:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR software/systems.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
