Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail and Store Manager to join our team at Fennel Living Pvt Ltd. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing daily store operations, driving sales, and managing the showrooms retail experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about luxury furniture, provide exceptional customer service, and possess strong leadership and sales skills. As a Retail and Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the Fennel Living brand and ensuring that our customers experience the best in luxury home décor.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
    • Drive daily sales activities and achieve sales targets in line with company goals.
    • Engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored recommendations for luxury furniture and décor.
    • Showcase and promote the brands furniture collection, ensuring that customers receive a personalized and exceptional shopping experience.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing queries, offering product knowledge, and assisting in product selection.
    • Build lasting relationships with customers by ensuring satisfaction and follow-up services.
    • Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Store Operations:
    • Manage and oversee all store operations, ensuring smooth functioning of day-to-day activities.
    • Maintain store inventory, stock levels, and product displays to ensure the showroom is visually appealing and organized.
    • Ensure all showroom policies and procedures are followed, and standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, motivate, and supervise retail sales staff to maintain high standards of performance and customer service.
    • Train and develop new staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to represent the brand effectively.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring team targets are met.
  • Visual Merchandising:
    • Create and maintain visually attractive and innovative product displays that enhance the customer shopping experience.
    • Regularly refresh displays to keep the showroom environment dynamic and aligned with brand standards.
  • Reporting and Administration:
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
    • Monitor and track store performance and implement strategies to improve sales and customer engagement.
    • Oversee cash handling and ensure accurate transaction processing.

Qualifications:

  • Communication and Customer Service Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers and build relationships.
  • Retail Sales and Sales Skills:
    • Proven experience in retail sales with a focus on luxury products (preferably in the furniture or home décor industry).
    • Ability to meet sales targets, negotiate, and close deals effectively.
  • Knowledge and Passion for Furniture:
    • A genuine interest and passion for high-end furniture and home décor.
    • Deep understanding of the luxury market and customer preferences.
  • Visual Merchandising:
    • Ability to create attractive product displays and understand the aesthetics of showroom presentation.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
    • Ability to delegate tasks, oversee team performance, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar retail sales or store management role, preferably in luxury retail or furniture industry.
    • Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on high-end, luxury products.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience working in the luxury furniture or home décor industry.
  • Knowledge of interior design trends and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
