Database Administrator - PostgreSQL (3-5 yrs)

This is a full-time on-site role for a Database Administrator located in New Delhi. (Client Location). The role involves managing, supporting, and maintaining our database infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain database systems to ensure reliable and efficient data management and storage.

- Conduct regular system performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure that databases are running at optimal performance.

- Design and implement data models to support the company's needs and growth objectives effectively.

- Work closely with internal teams to provide data support and assist with analytics requirements.

- Implement and maintain database scripts to automate maintenance tasks and reports.

Requirements :

- MCA/Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology.

- Proven experience in database management including the configuration, monitoring, and performance refinement of databases.

- Impressive knowledge in data modeling to support database design and structure that meets business objectives.

- Proficient scripting abilities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline database processes effectively.

- Strong skills in MongoDB, capable of efficiently managing and optimizing non-relational databases.

- Solid experience in PostgreSQL with the ability to handle complex queries and manage relational databases effectively.
