Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Design Consultants / Architects and ensure timely provision of inputs to them for design & detailing as per project requirements throughout the project life-cycle
• Co-ordinate with interior designers / consultants to finalize interior layouts, detail drawings etc. and drive value engineering initiatives such as cost effective and preferential services for Featherlite Group
• Lead the development of the consultant brief containing project details and ensure timely submission of the same to the Design Consultants/Architects
• Lead all discussions and negotiations with Design Consultants / Architects, Interior designers; Evaluate quotes and finalize their appointment in consultation with the Top Management
• Ensure timely provision of support to Site Teams for any design related clarifications; Conduct site visits to monitor progress
• Review all drawings created by Design Consultants/Architects at different stages of the Project life cycle (Concept, Schematic, Good for Construction, Landscape, Sanction drawings etc.) to ensure adherence to design principles and local by laws and Regulations governing architectural designs
• Prepare Project Design Basis, Project Description, and Feasibility study based on primary and secondary input sources
• Provide support in preparation of the Master schedule in a timely manner
• Provide timely response to queries of Design Consultants/Architects; ensure timely processing of their payments
• Responsible for creation of fit-outs for Project Clients
• Coordinate with interior designers / consultants to organize site visits; Ensure timely provision of initial project details, approvals and inputs to them for design & detailing as per project requirements
• Ensure timely submission of design concepts, working drawings, 3D models, space plans, assembly / construction of mock-ups etc. by interior designers / engineering dept / consultants; Critically analyze and finalize the same in consultation with the Top Management.
• Act as the key coordinator between the project site and interior designers / consultants; Ensure correctness of drawings issued on site and provision of timely support on all interiors related matters
