Job Title: Design Coordinator- Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to manage multiple

projects, focusing on design coordination between teams including site, internal design, MEP,

Quality and interiors. You will oversee the execution of designs, resolve technical issues, and

ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. Collaborating closely with design, site,

and vendor teams, the role involves coordinating design documentation, site inspections, and

the integration of design elements within construction projects. You will handle approximately 5

projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Drawing Coordination: Review and approve design drawings, ensuring

alignment with project specifications and addressing discrepancies. Maintain updated

project documentation.

• Site Coordination: Collaborate with the site team on design tasks, including

installations, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and coordinate approvals.

• Project Management: Oversee the execution of design work, ensuring accuracy in

detailing, material specifications, and documentation.

• Team & Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, consultants, and

vendors to troubleshoot issues, manage material sampling, and coordinate

design-related approvals.

• Documentation & Reporting: Document project progress, prepare minutes of meetings

(MOMs), and report on timelines and deliverables.

• Snag Identification & Resolution: Identify post-completion issues, manage corrections,

and verify resolutions before project handover.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-scale construction and interior design projects.
• Familiarity with construction processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Architecture, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in design coordination or a similar role in architecture or interior

design projects.

• Strong knowledge of design documentation, including drawings and technical

specifications.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including vendors, site teams, and consultants.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ZWCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
