S2C - Engineer

Reports To: Team Lead

Essential responsibilities and duties

This role supports the program buyer in managing the full sourcing to contract (S2C) process through Ariba during the development phase of the program. Responsible for managing all the adminsitative tasks for programs.

The main missions of the role are:

• Preparation of sourcing package of the program
• Creation of parts in Ariba that need to be sourced by referring bill of materials
• Creation of RFQ by attaching Non-Disclosure Agreement, Cost Breakdown & other mandatory documents
• Follow up with the suppliers for the prices & purchasing documents
• Compliance check such as supplier documentation & certification
• To perform E-Auction
• Comparison of cost/prices sent by the suppliers
• Support to the Program Buyers in Sourcing Nomination Committee meeting by creating sourcing nomination matrix
• Collection of required data from the Program Buyers & suppliers to create Letter of Nomination & signature process
• Close coordination with the Program Buyers to ensure to achive the program milestone
• Additional responsibilities of Program Buyer tasks such as supplier qualification process, Co2 data collection during the RFQ process etc

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be :

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering

Experience :

• 1-3 years experience in Purchasing preferably in an automotive industrial environment

Skills and competencies :

• Fluent English, Good written & communication skills
• Knowledge on Ariba is must
• Detailed knowledge of Sourcing to Contract process
• Knowledge of Procure to Pay process and automotive standards
• Analytical skills for cost analysis
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• MS office (Excel and Powerpoint)
• Flexible to work in Shifts
• International mindset
• Ability to work in a matrix organization
