Title: GPS Senior Analyst

Reports To: Team Leader / Associate Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Procurement Operations Specialist to join our procurement operations team. This role is crucial in supporting various aspects of procurement operations, including supplier management, contract management, cost reduction, and process improvement for both direct and indirect purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Oversee supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

• Contract Management: Manage procurement contracts, including negotiation, execution, and compliance monitoring. Ensure all contracts are up-to-date and meet company standards.

• Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost savings through effective negotiations, value analysis, and process improvements. Analyse historical spend data to find new cost-saving opportunities.

• Process Improvement: Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and standardize procurement procedures across the organization.

• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and key initiatives. Utilize data analytics tools to generate insights and support decision-making.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities. Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure the stability and reliability of the supply chain.

• Sustainability: Promote and implement sustainable procurement practices. Work with suppliers to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and initiatives.

• Training and Coaching: Develop and deliver training programs for procurement team members. Provide coaching and mentorship to junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

NOTE : selected candidate would be trained on purchasing IT tools

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Management) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement operations or a related field.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data management tools and software.
• Experience with global documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of risk management and sustainability practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English (verbal, written and presentation skills)
• SAP/Ariba (Optional)
