Job Summary:

The GPS Project Manager will oversee the implementation, operation, and maintenance of GPS-based systems, ensuring that project goals are met efficiently. The role also includes responsibility for managing billing processes, tracking project finances, and maintaining accurate records to ensure seamless project delivery and financial accountability.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for GPS implementation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
• Manage risk by identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.

System Implementation and Maintenance:

• Supervise the deployment and integration of GPS tracking systems.
• Ensure that GPS solutions meet client specifications and are functioning optimally.
• Oversee ongoing operation and maintenance of GPS systems, addressing technical issues promptly.

Billing and Financial Oversight:

• Create and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Handle client billing processes, including preparing and verifying invoices.
• Track payment milestones and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collections.
• Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, train, and support the project team in technical and administrative tasks.

Stakeholder and Client Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates and billing queries.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, technical details, and financial transactions.
• Prepare detailed progress reports, billing statements, and financial summaries for stakeholders.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of GPS systems, tracking technologies, and billing processes.
• Expertise in project management , budget planning, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Proficiency in handling billing software and systems.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT, Electronics) , or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in GPS project management, including billing and financial oversight.
• Familiarity with billing systems, financial tools, and GPS tracking platforms (Must).
