Bucket Collection Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Bucket Portfolio Management:
Oversee the performance of specific debt collection buckets (e.g., Pre-Due, 0-30 DPD, 31-60 DPD, etc.).
Develop strategies and action plans for recovery, based on bucket-wise aging and customer segmentation.
Monitor performance metrics, including recovery rates, PTP (Promise to Pay) adherence, and delinquency trends.
2. Team Leadership:
Manage team leaders and agents working on assigned buckets.
Ensure proper allocation of accounts and workload balancing across teams.
Provide guidance and support to resolve complex or escalated cases.
3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track daily, weekly, and monthly recovery performance for the assigned buckets.
Generate detailed MIS reports and analyze data for trends, shortfalls, and actionable insights.
Present recovery progress and challenges to senior management.
4. Process Optimization:
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance collection efficiency.
Coordinate with the Digital Collections, Legal, and Field Recovery teams to maximize recovery efforts.
Leverage CRM tools, dialers, and automation for targeted campaigns and follow-ups.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all collection activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Monitor adherence to customer interaction standards to maintain a positive brand image.
6. Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams like Legal, Compliance, and Customer Grievance to address disputes or legal escalations.
Partner with the Digital and Marketing teams for bucket-specific outreach campaigns.
7. Training and Development:
Train team leaders and agents on strategies, tools, and customer handling techniques.
Organize refresher sessions on compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills and Requirements:
Experience: 4-5 years in debt collection, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Education: Graduate in any discipline.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Strong knowledge of CRM systems and dialer operations.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to manage large teams and drive results.
Strategic thinking with strong decision-making capabilities.
Communication Skills:
Fluent in English and regional languages.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Certification: DRA Certificate is compulsory.
Work Ethic: Target-driven, organized, and results-oriented.
