What are we looking for ?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director for Bank Partnerships & Alliances. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders to create mutually beneficial alliances that support the company's growth and revenue goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and manage key relationships and ensure successful collaboration with our partners.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances :
- Identify, negotiate, and establish long-term partnerships with banks and financial institutions to drive business growth and enhance product offerings.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of partner needs and industry trends to align partnership strategies with organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in partner organizations to foster collaboration and joint initiatives.
Business Development :
- Lead the full lifecycle of the partnership process, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Uncover new business opportunities within existing partnerships to increase revenue streams and enhance market presence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, marketing, and legal) to ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements.
Account Management :
- Act as the primary liaison for banking partners, ensuring their needs are met and relationships remain productive.
- Regularly assess partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts within partnerships, maintaining smooth and effective collaboration.
Market & Competitor Analysis :
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the banking and financial services industry.
- Stay informed about competitors' activities and emerging opportunities to refine partnership strategies.
Reporting & Analysis :
- Track and analyze partnership performance, reporting on key metrics and KPIs.
- Provide senior management with regular updates on partnership progress, risks, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or relationship management in the banking/financial services sector.
- Proven success in establishing and managing partnerships with banks and financial institutions.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of complex business models and how to align them with partner goals.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving successful project outcomes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
