Falcon - Lead Data Engineer - AWS Data Services (7-12 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Data Engineering & Architecture :

- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines on AWS.

- Optimize ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue, Apache Spark, EMR, and Lambda.

- Build and maintain data lakes and warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake).

- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Technical Leadership :

- Lead a team of data engineers in designing and deploying data solutions.

- Set best practices for code quality, CI/CD, and automation.

- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive upskilling initiatives.

What We're Looking For :

Must-Have :

- 7+ years of experience in data engineering.

- Expertise in AWS data services (Glue, S3, Redshift/Snowflake, Lambda, EMR).

- Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and Airflow.

- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and warehousing best practices.

- Experience with Kafka/Kinesis for real-time streaming.

- Prior experience in fintechs, specifically in credit cards/lending.

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in big data technologies.

- Experience with Hadoop, Hive, and open-source big data tools.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Superset, Grafana, Tableau).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
