JOB OBJECTIVE:
We are looking for dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executives (BDE) and Senior Business Development Executives (Sr. BDE) with a strong background in HORECA Sales, the Frozen Food Industry, and the Food Industry to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both primary and secondary sales, with a proven track record of handling distributors and driving business growth in the assigned region. (Chennai).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets by driving primary and secondary sales for the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and CafÃ) sector and the frozen food market.
HORECA Sales: Manage and grow the HORECA client base in Chennai, including selling products to hotels, restaurants, cafes, and catering businesses.
Distributor Management: Handle relationships with distributors and ensure efficient distribution
channels for the company's products.
Market Research & Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and
competitor activities; develop strategies to maximize growth.
Customer Acquisition & Retention: Identify potential customers, pitch products, negotiate deals,
and ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Support: Provide necessary training and support to distributors and retail clients.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate sales records, forecast reports, and track market
developments in the region.
REQUIREMENT:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in HORECA sales (mandatory) and proven experience in the
Frozen Food Industry or the Food Industry.
Sales Expertise: In-depth knowledge of both primary and secondary sales, including distributor
handling, retail sales, and demand generation.
Relationship Building: Strong skills in managing and nurturing relationships with distributors,
customers, and key accounts.
Market Knowledge: Understanding of the local food industry, especially frozen food trends,
HORECA customer needs, and sales dynamics in Chennai
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and
presentation skills.
Self-Motivated & Target-Oriented: Proven ability to achieve sales targets independently while
working with minimal supervision.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business
operations.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the frozen food or food service distribution landscape,
supply chain management, and cold chain logistics.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in local languages (Tamil for Chennai & Bengali for Kolkata )
will be an added advantage.
