Senior Executive - Finance & Accounts

Role & responsibilities

To handle complete billing activity with timely follow ups with customers and ensure regular collections, well versed with AR ageing reports, and can communicate with customers diligently.

• To handle Accounts payable function and ensure timely collection, booking of invoices and payment to the vendors.
• Maintain system processes and work regularly to improve the accounting process, ability to automate manual processes.
• Bank reconciliation and ensure regular updating of books of accounts, along with customer ledger reconciliation and sort out any discrepancies.
• Should have knowledge of Journal entries and able to manage the GL postings efficiently.
• Possess knowledge to collect, prepare and finalize data for GST returns, and possess knowledge of filing GST returns on GST portal. Keep proper reconciliation of Input tax credits and necessary postings in books of accounts.
• Prepare monthly Statutory compliance reports and conduct regular reconciliation of TDS, PF, ESI and Professional Taxes.
• Assist in month end closing process, keen to complete the tasks within deadlines and ready to take on new challenges.
• Expert level knowledge in Tally/Zoho Books or other accounting software and well versed with Microsoft applications.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports after collating data from relevant stakeholders, communicate with internal clients on regular basis.
• Other day to day activities in accounting function.
