Factory Head - Precast Manufacturing Operations

Role & responsibilities

As the Precast Factory Head, you shall be responsible for:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the precast factory to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Develop and implement annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts for the factory.
• Manage the factory's financial performance, including monitoring costs, revenues, and profitability.
• Leading and managing all aspects of the precast factory operations to ensure seamless production and timely delivery of high-quality precast products.
• Implementing and maintaining best practices in plant operations, adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Developing and executing strategies to optimize production processes, minimize waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Overseeing the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production and minimal downtime.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence.
• Monitoring and analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Leading and mentoring a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices within the factory.

Education Qualification

• B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Strong understanding of precast concrete production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with manufacturing of Precast Products like; Columns, Walls, Beams, Slabs, Footings, Staircases, Shell Roofs, Facades, Trenches, etc.
• Experience in implementing Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
• Strong understanding of quality control and assurance measures.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations related to manufacturing operations.
