We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong business acumen to deliver data-driven insights through powerful visualizations and analytics solutions. Were looking for someone who is self-motivated and has a passion for data analytics and visualization, capable of working independently while contributing to team objectives. They should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and deliver optimal solutions.

• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI models, reports, and dashboards that drive data-driven decision-making
• Implement and maintain ETL processes using various data sources while ensuring data quality and integrity
• Create and optimize DAX queries for complex calculations and data modeling
• Develop and maintain SSAS tabular models (MOLAP/ROLAP) for efficient data analysis
• Design and implement data warehouse solutions including ODS, Data Marts, and Enterprise Data Warehouse architectures
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Monitor and optimize performance of Power BI solutions using industry best practices
• Create comprehensive technical documentation including data dictionaries, report specifications, and user guides
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities
• Implement data governance standards and ensure compliance with data security protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX programming and report development
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience writing complex ETL queries
• Experience with Python for data analysis and manipulation
• Expertise in data visualization principles and best practices
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts
• Experience with MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, Data Marts, and Enterprise Data Warehouse architectures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Power BI certification
• Experience with version control systems and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
