Power Bi Consultant (Location - Mumbai)

Role & responsibilities

Data Extraction and Transformation:
Connection to Salesforce database
Connecting to SAP data sources like SAP BW, ECC, or S/4HANA using relevant connectors.
Writing complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from SAP systems to prepare it for analysis in Power BI.
Data cleansing and normalization to ensure data quality within Power BI models.
Power BI Development:
Designing and building interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI using visualizations and data analysis techniques.
Creating data models within Power BI, defining relationships between SAP data entities, and calculating key performance indicators (KPIs).
Implementing data security measures to control access to sensitive SAP data within Power BI.
Business Analysis and Collaboration:
Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into Power BI visualizations.
Identifying trends and insights from SAP data through analysis and reporting, providing actionable recommendations.
Presenting reports and dashboards to key decision-makers, explaining data insights clearly.

Preferred candidate profile

Expertise in Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, DAX calculations, visualization techniques)
Understanding of Salesforce
Strong understanding of SAP data structures and functionalities (SAP BW, SAP ECC, SAP HANA)
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Business acumen to understand key performance metrics relevant to the organization Ability to translate business requirements into data analysis solutions Excellent communication skills to present data insights effectively
