Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Technical Consultant to join our team in a support and enhancement role. You will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing SAP BW solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization. Your expertise in SAP BW will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our business intelligence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Support:
1. Provide day-to-day support for SAP BW systems, ensuring data availability, system performance, and reliability.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with end-users and cross-functional teams.
3. Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent issues.
2. Enhancement and Optimization:
1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
2. Develop, test, and implement enhancements and improvements to existing SAP BW solutions.
3. Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for improved performance.
4. Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance system functionality.
3. Data Modeling:
1. Design and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
2. Create and maintain InfoCubes, DataStore Objects, InfoObjects, and other data structures in SAP BW.
3. Apply dimension modeling and star schema techniques to support effective reporting.
4. Reporting and Analytics:
1. Develop and maintain reporting solutions using tools like SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud, or other reporting tools.
2. Create and enhance BI queries, reports, and dashboards to meet the business requirements.
3. Collaborate with end-users to understand their reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
5. Integration:
1. Work on data integration between SAP BW and other systems such as SAP ERP, external databases, and third-party applications.
2. Ensure data consistency and accuracy in data transfers.
6. Documentation and Training:
1. Maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP BW configurations, processes, and enhancements.
2. Provide training and guidance to end-users and colleagues on SAP BW functionalities.
7. Performance Monitoring:
1. Continuously monitor system performance and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
2. Implement performance tuning and optimization techniques to ensure a high-performing SAP BW environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Should have full life cycle implementation experience working in BW on HANA and Native HANA projects.
• Experience in building and enhancing Composite providers and Advance Data Store Objects in BW on HANA.
• Experience in building Native HANA model artifacts like Calculation Views, CDS Views etc.
• Should have good functional knowledge in modules like SD, MM and FI.
• Strong experience in SAP BI / BW Hands on exposure in BW Modeling, BW Extraction, Performance Optimization and BEx Reporting.
• Experience in building and enhancing BI objects such as InfoObjects, InfoCubes, Data Sources, Master Data, Transformations, DSO, Extractors, Process Chains and User Exits.
• Should have experience in ABAP programming in writing the BADI's for customer exit variables and writing the start routine, end routine and field level routines etc.
• Working knowledge of Business Objects tools like WEBI, IDT is must.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent Communication Skills

Skills :

• Should have experience in building the Composite providers, Advance Data Store Objects in BW on HANA, Native HANA model like Calculation Views, CDS Views etc.
• Hands on with BW Modeling, BW Extraction, Performance Optimization, BEx Reporting.
• Expertise in building and enhancing BI objects such as InfoObjects, InfoCubes, Data Sources, Master Data, Transformations, Extractors, Process Chains and User Exits.
• Should be able to handle the client independently (Email/Phone/Conference calls)
• Strong analytical and conceptual design skills; strong problem-solving skills
