Job Description :
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Management Information Systems (MIS) Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in MIS operations, data analysis, and reporting.
As an MIS Specialist, you will manage and maintain our organization's MIS infrastructure, ensure data accuracy, generate reports, and provide analytical insights to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and administer the organization's MIS systems, including databases, applications, and hardware.
- Ensure system uptime, performance, and security.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all systems.
- Implement data quality control measures and procedures.
- Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support business operations and decision-making.
- Automate reporting processes where possible.
- Provide technical support to end-users on MIS systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for new reports and system enhancements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for MIS systems and processes.
- Liaise with vendors for system maintenance, upgrades, and support.
- Identify opportunities to improve MIS processes and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
- Implement and enforce data security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information.
- Develop and deliver training to end-users on MIS systems and applications.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in MIS operations, data analysis, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data visualization techniques
