Solutions Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform advanced product presentations for customers and prospects.
• Transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers.
• Perform customer needs assessments and discovery sessions.
• Provide responses for product and technical requests.
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the company products, functions, features, and benefits.
• Provide training during POC and in sandbox environments.
• Review customer operations for improving business processes and identifying opportunities.
• Contribute to the success of various groups and functional teams beyond the sales organization.
• Actively collaborate with the Product Management and Marketing teams on a regular basis to provide information based on customer and industry interactions.
• Continuously demonstrate competency in Exterros products, roadmap, and the Data Risk Management industry.
• Understand relevant competitive solutions, products, and services.
• Participate at conferences, trade shows, and other events as requested by Management and Product Marketing.
• Join relevant user groups, industry groups, and similar organizations.
• Must be a highly motivated, strong team player who is open to new ideas.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 to 5 years sales engineering experience.
• Bachelors degree or relevant industry experience required.
• Superior presentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, business justification.
• Ability to work effectively on a remote basis.
• Requires an action-oriented individual with a very strong initiative to be successful.
