Data Analyst

Job Summary:

Data Analytics Specialist is responsible for leveraging data analytics techniques to support decision-making processes across various functions including Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing, and Sales. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. The Data Analytics Specialist will work with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven strategies and deliver actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency, improve outcomes, and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and prepare data from various internal and external sources, including financial systems, customer data, and marketing platforms.
• Integrate and transform data from disparate sources to create comprehensive datasets that are ready for analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality throughout the process.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data distributions and identify key variables for further investigation.
• Analyze financial and business data to support strategic decision-making.
• Help create clear, visually appealing, and actionable reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI
• Present data insights to key stakeholders in a concise and understandable manner, ensuring the findings are actionable and aligned with business goals.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as business analysts and financial analysts, to understand business objectives and identify analytical needs.
• Support decision-making by offering data-driven recommendations based on trends and statistical models.
• Use prescriptive analytics to suggest actions and strategies for business optimization.
• Apply advanced statistical techniques like regression analysis, time-series analysis, and clustering to solve business problems.
• Work with IT or data engineering teams to ensure that data infrastructure supports the analytical needs of the organization.
• Help automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to improve efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience Data Analytics and Business Analysis
• Strong understanding of data visualization and storytelling.
• Familiarity with large datasets and ability to handle complex data structures.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with other tools in the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience in connecting Power BI to various data sources such as SharePoint, Excel, SQL Server, or cloud platforms like Azure.
• Knowledge of Agile or similar project management methodologies.
