Data Application Developer

Overview:
We are seeking a talented and driven Python Developer with expertise in building scalable applications and a strong focus on CI/CD, containerization, and automation. This role emphasizes Python application development, cloud-native deployment, and ensuring robust testing and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical foundation, experience with modern DevOps practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize Python-based applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and integration processes.
• Containerize applications using Kubernetes and manage deployments with Helm Charts.
• Implement best practices for application testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
• Utilize templating frameworks to improve development efficiency and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain ETL workflows, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with various data sources and APIs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, ensuring reliability and security.
• Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to drive technical excellence.

Skills Required:

• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with Bitbucket, Code Build, Code Pipeline or similar tools for automated build and deployment.
• Containerization Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts for deploying and managing applications.
• Testing Automation: Strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and test automation frameworks such as PyTest.
• Templating Frameworks: Experience with Jinja2 or similar frameworks for dynamic configuration management.
• Cloud Expertise: Understanding of AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, RDS) and infrastructure best practices.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and experience working in a collaborative development environment.
• Problem-Solving Collaboration: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good to have : ETL Data Processing Exposure: Familiarity with data transformation, ingestion techniques, and working with data pipelines. Code-Commit experience is desirable

Role Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Python application development, CI/CD, and cloud-based deployment.
• Technologies: Python, CI/CD (Bitbucket, Code Build, Code Pipeline), Kubernetes, Helm Charts, AWS, ETL, Templating Frameworks.
• Additional Knowledge: Experience with distributed systems, API development, and cloud security best practices, Code-Commit is a plus.
