Talend Developer

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Talend Developer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using the Talend platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and the ability to work with large datasets. As a Talend Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing data workflows, data quality, and ensuring seamless integration of data across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data integration processes using Talend Studio (both Talend Open Studio and Talend Data Integration).
• Create and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources (e.g., databases, flat files, APIs) into target systems.
• Develop and manage complex data pipelines to support real-time and batch data integration.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable solutions.
• Work on data cleansing, transformation, and data quality management.
• Integrate Talend with other tools and technologies (such as databases, cloud platforms, message queues).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, data synchronization, and performance.
• Ensure the high performance, scalability, and reliability of data integration solutions.
• Monitor and optimize ETL jobs and data workflows to ensure they meet performance and operational standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to ensure code quality.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Talend and data integration best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Talend Data Integration development (Talend Open Studio, Talend Cloud, or similar Talend tools).
• Proficiency in designing and developing ETL processes using Talend.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and optimization.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience integrating Talend with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with data formats like CSV, XML, JSON, and Parquet.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services for data exchange.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
