Tester - ETL

Overview :

As a ETL Tester with 3 -5 years of experience to support our data integration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes, SQL, and dashboard testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data systems, helping to drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
• Validate data transformations and ensure data integrity throughout the ETL pipeline.
• Perform SQL queries to verify data correctness and quality across various databases.
• Conduct dashboard testing to ensure visualizations accurately represent underlying data.
• Collaborate with developers and data engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement gathering and impact analysis for testing.
• Document testing processes, results, and defect logs.
• Assist in automating testing processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in ETL testing, SQL, and dashboard testing.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and understanding database schemas.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Selenium).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
