Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Overview:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights through intuitive visualizations and dashboards. This role requires a strong command of SQL and experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics. Expertise in building reports using either Metabase or Power BI is essential. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality, data-backed recommendations to support strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Metabase or Power BI.
• Write complex queries to extract and manipulate data from Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Analyze data trends to identify actionable insights and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define key metrics and build relevant reports.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all reports and visualizations.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to align data output with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience building visualizations and dashboards using Metabase or Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Azure Synapse or similar data warehousing technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on actionable insights.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in marketing technology or SaaS platforms is a plus.
