Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing and administering databases, particularly with MySQL, Cassandra/ScyllaDB, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Aerospike, AWS RDS, and Couchbase.

The ideal candidate will also have strong Linux administration skills, experience with performance tuning, and cost optimization, as well as the ability to provide reliable on-call support.

Responsibilities :

- Administer, maintain, and optimize various databases including MariaDB & MySQL, Cassandra/ScyllaDB, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, Aerospike, AWS RDS, and Couchbase.

- Perform regular Linux administration tasks including OS upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.

- Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions for databases.

- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, implementing solutions to optimize query execution and resource usage.

- Conduct performance tuning and implement cost optimization strategies to reduce operational expenses and maximize system efficiency.

- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

- Provide on-call support for database-related incidents and outages, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal impact on operations.

- Implement security best practices to safeguard data integrity and comply with internal and external regulations.

- Document database configurations, policies, and procedures for future reference and auditing purposes.

- AWS Migration one Region to Another Region.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud-based databases and infrastructures, especially in AWS.

- Knowledge of automation tools for database management and monitoring.

- Familiarity with scripting languages (e., Bash, Python) for database automation tasks.

- Experience in DevOps environments and integrating databases into CI/CD pipelines.

- AWS Migration from one Region to Another Region.

- Experience with external tools for data migration.

- Experience with Networking Communication from one region to another.
