JOB OVERVIEW:

We're looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Finance Operations to join our team. You'll be a key player in managing Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Month-End Close, Reporting, Audit & \ Compliance, Business Relationship Management, and Ad Hoc Projects. Collaborate with the Head of Finance to streamline financial processes and lead the FinOps Team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGEMENT:

- Process and reconcile customer invoices promptly and accurately.

- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections.

- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer accounts and records.

2. GENERAL LEDGER OVERSIGHT:

- Perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts.

- Ensure proper coding and classification of financial transactions.

- Assist in the preparation of journal entries and month-end close activities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data.

3. MONTH-END CLOSE AND REPORTING:

- Lead month-end close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Generate and analyze financial reports for management review.

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory compliance reporting.

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial reporting processes.

4. AUDIT AND COMPLIANCE:

- Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure adherence.

5. BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs.

- Provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

- Foster positive relationships with internal and external partners.

6. AD HOC PROJECTS, SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION, AND DATA MANAGEMENT:

- Lead and contribute to ad hoc financial projects as assigned.

- Participate in system implementation projects, ensuring smooth transitions.

- Manage and analyze financial data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Masters degree or professional certification (CA, CFA, CPA) is a plus.

- Proven experience of 8+ Years in managing financial operations in both the United States and India, preferably in a corporate finance environment or a similar role.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Proactive problem-solving attitude, constantly seeking ways to improve processes and deliver value to the organization.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non finance stakeholders.

- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment.

- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and awareness of QuickBooks and ConnectWise preferred.
