Sales_ Capital Markets

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the entire sales process from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals for AI-powered data analytics solutions and digital modernization/ engineering services in the capital markets domain.
• Leverage deep knowledge of AI, data analytics, and data management to position solutions that solve complex business challenges for clients in the capital markets industry.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor landscape, and regulatory changes within capital markets to ensure the solutions meet evolving client needs.
• Work closely with product and technical teams to tailor AI analytics solutions to meet specific client demands, ensuring high-value delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, working with a high-performance sales team and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
• Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new market opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, forecasts, and client communications.

Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of experience in selling AI, data analytics solutions, data management solutions and managed services engineering deals in the capital markets domain.
• In-depth knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, AI technologies, and their application in financial services, specifically within capital markets (e.g., trading, risk management, portfolio management, client reporting, etc).
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the capital markets industry.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, including knowledge of asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, etc.), financial instruments, market data, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Passion for sales and business development and being able to independently generate and convert leads leveraging various sales processes and platforms including client and market research, intelligence gathering, cold calling, email campaigns, linkedin campaigns, industry events, building relationships and networks with client stakeholders, et al.
• Leveraging existing network of relationships within capital markets (asset managers, asset servicing banks (custodians), investment banks, hedge funds, etc.).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.

Education:

Bachelors degree in engineering, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS in Data Analytics, etc.) are a plus.
