Job Description

Purpose of the Role


The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving the companys growth and revenue creation by identifying new business opportunities, generating leads and successfully converting them.


Roles and Responsibilities


Lead generation

  • Identifying and finding potential clients through various channels including networking, social platforms, and LinkedIn.
  • Creating a strong customer pipeline by generating and managing leads.

Sales Pitching

  • Create and customize sales pitches that highlight our products uniqueness and the benefits it can provide to our customers.
  • Collaborate and create impactful presentations, case studies and other materials to showcase potential customers.

Revenue Generation

  • Develop and implement appropriate sales strategies to achieve the sales targets within the assigned time period.
  • Work strategically to hit specific revenue goals, balancing short-term gains with long-term client relationships.

Client Demos/Presentations

  • Present detailed software demos to prospective clients showcasing the capabilities of our product.
  • Communicating complex technical concepts in a simplified manner, addressing client queries and demonstrating the value of our solutions.

Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, potential threats and emerging client needs.
  • Doing competitor analysis and identifying ways to differentiate our solutions and gain a competitive edge.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.
  • Understand the clients strategic goals and align our offerings to address their evolving needs.
  • Responding to email and telephone inquiries from clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Should be residing in Gujarat and must be able to speak and understand Gujarati
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the software/SaaS or AEC industry.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Client-focused approach with an emphasis on relationship building
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree (MBA) is preferred.
