We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated IT Manager to join our team in Navi Mumbai.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of IT operations, including managing IT staff, designing and implementing IT systems, and ensuring the security of our data and network.
Job responsibilities :
- Manage information technology and computer systems, including servers, desktops, networks, and applications.
- Control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations, ensuring that they are efficient, reliable, and secure.
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees and appraising their performance.
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate IT systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate controls.
- Perform backup and restoration activities.
- Preserve IT assets, information security, and control structures.
- Manage and control access to projects and scanned archived documents.
- Handle the annual IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain and manage all IT-related activities and assets.
- Review and approve all IT-related documents and procedures.
- Review Quality Management System (QMS) documents.
- Prepare or review computer system validation documents.
- Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with cGMP and GDP regulations.
Experience and skills :
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT).
- 10-20 years of relevant experience in IT management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security.
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) methodologies, such as ITIL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence senior management.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- A driver of change and constantly looking for improvements.
- High levels of self-initiative and a positive work ethic
