Regional Manager - Human Resource
Role Description:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Human Resources Manager to join our team in Pune.
- This is an on-site role that will require travel within the region.
- The Regional HR Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the entire spectrum of HR functions within the region.
Key responsibilities include:
HR Operations:
- Lead and manage all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compensation & benefits.
- Oversee the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee grievances and conduct investigations as needed.
Training & Development:
- Design, develop, and deliver effective training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Identify and address training needs within the region.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Advise management on HR-related legal and compliance issues.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address any compliance gaps.
Payroll Management:
- Oversee the timely and accurate processing of employee payroll.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory deductions and tax regulations.
- Manage employee leaves and attendance records.
Strategic HR:
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes and systems.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management from a reputed university.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong focus on staffing, executive search, training & development, compliance management, and payroll management.
- Proven experience in managing HR operations in a multi-site environment.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Relations.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
