Enveda is looking for a Scientist, In vivo Pharmacology to join our team in Hyderabad, India.
The contribution you will make: We are looking for an innovative and self-motivated candidate for the role of Scientist to join our in vivo pharmacology team. The successful candidate will provide support and expertise to establish and validate in-vivo models and evaluate effect of test compounds in various in vivo disease models related to the therapeutic areas in alignment with the companys strategic goals.

The successful candidate will:
Work closely with discovery specialists, disease area scientists and in vivo team members Execute in vivo pharmacology studies to evaluate the activities of small molecule drug candidates, investigate their mechanisms of action, and explore novel therapeutic hypotheses
Contribute to study design, planning and performing in vivo studies related to pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and efficacy studies from early exploratory to IND stage
Perform standard mouse procedures including plasma/serum collection, IP/IV injections, necropsies, and tissue collection in compliance with established protocols
Lead the molecular biology experiments such as western blot, qPCR, biochemical assay and ELISA for tissue and serum samples to understand underlying mechanisms & disease pathophysiology
Conduct statistically supported data analysis, and deliver results in a timely manner to enable informed decision-making
Record experimental data and observations on a timely basis in company specified format
Prepare, review, and deliver scientific presentations for internal/external use
Communicate the status of projects, challenges and results to stakeholders
Participate in cross-functional team activities, add value to research projects through creative ideas
Contribute towards preparation of study protocols, relevant SOPs, and methods in compliance to all applicable guidelines
Who will thrive in this role?
M.Pharm. with 5-7 years or PhD with 0 - 2 years of experience in drug discovery industry
Proficient in standard in-vivo techniques (animal handling, blood collection, dosing, rodent survival surgery, necropsy, tissue dissections)
Familiar with animal ethics and compliance requirements
Knowledge on In-vivo pharmacology
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong work ethic; scientific curiosity; can do, will do attitude
Experience in working with ex-vivo models
Experience in using electronic lab notebook system
