Reports To: Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Department: Internal Digital Experience
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technology Development: • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced digital solutions, including custom modules and internal portals. • Utilize modern programming languages, frameworks, and technologies to build scalable and robust digital platforms. • Ensure the digital infrastructure is secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
2. Team Management: • Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team including UX/UI designers, developers, project managers, and analysts. • Cultivate an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. • Provide mentorship, professional development opportunities, and necessary resources to ensure team success and growth.
3. Project Governance and Management: • Ensuring the full lifecycle of digital projects from conceptualization through execution, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality delivery. • Facilitate effective collaboration with cross-departmental teams (IT, HR, etc.) to align and integrate digital solutions. • Implement and champion agile methodologies to enhance project flexibility, responsiveness, and efficiency.
4. Digital Transformation: • Lead initiatives aimed at transforming and optimizing internal processes, enhancing workflows, and improving communication channels. • Promote and support the adoption of innovative digital tools that enable effective remote work, seamless collaboration, and efficient knowledge sharing. • Assess and integrate digital solutions focused on employee wellness, continuous learning, and professional development.
5. User Experience: • Ensure a user-centric approach in all digital initiatives, prioritizing employee needs and feedback in design and implementation phases. • Conduct comprehensive user research, usability testing, and feedback collection to iteratively improve digital experiences. • Guarantee that all digital products and platforms are accessible, inclusive, and user-friendly. 6. Performance Measurement: • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and impact of digital initiatives. • Analyze performance data, generate actionable insights, and provide regular reports to senior leadership and stakeholders. • Continuously refine digital strategies based on performance metrics and feedback.
Qualifications: • Education: • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: • At least 10 years of experience in digital transformation, IT management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role. • Proven success in leading the development and deployment of advanced digital solutions and platforms. • Experience in managing high-performing, multidisciplinary distributed teams in multiple location of 30 to 50 team members • Experience of Large-scale projects of the scale of 600 to 1000 Man months Single Project end to end experience • Multi-Location, Multi-Company deployment models and architecture • Technical Skills: • Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Go, Java) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js). • Experience with various cloud platforms and DevOps practices. • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations. • Micro service Architecture, K8 and Docker, Multi-tier loosely couple tightly integration solution layering, Strong Configurable and intelligent solutions development • Complete automation of End to End Software Processes through series of tools • Strong QA – in multi dimension mode eg Functionality, Security, Performance, Load Balancing, Cloud Capabilities – Horizontal and vertical scaling capability leveraging test cases and scenarios • Technology Knowledge: • Strong knowledge of Cloud – Infrastructure as a Code • Strong solution design with HA and BCP ensuring zero down time • Business Process Knowledge: • Strong business process knowledge at the level of expertise of all functions in a company like HR, Finance, Sales, Purchase, Tech Delivery, Admin, Billing & collection. ESDS SOFTWARE SOLUTION LIMITED • Soft Skills: • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. • Superior communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fastpaced environment. • Certifications: • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile, ITIL, CMMI or specific technology certifications and its real life practicing experience are advantageous.
