Head of Freight - EXIM

Role & responsibilities

Develop a growth oriented freight department business plan and annual budget.

Lead the function as a change agent by setting up directions to ensure continuous & sustainable
business growth

Assist to Identify potential new trade lanes, markets, develop new products through detailed
analysis of market environment and share information with BDU representative / team.

Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, government authorities, key
suppliers, etc.

Monitor and control expenses in relation to revenue generation on a monthly basis

Ensure compliance with all regulatory (local & international).

Maintaining & monitoring the implementation of proper processes and practices.

Ensure credit policy is in place which should be practiced by all to meet with company rules and
requirements

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors Degree / Masters approved or equivalent Professional qualification

Marketing qualifications/Industry Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies

Focused and goal-oriented

Minimum of 8-10 years work experience in a related discipline where 4 years should be at
Manager level

Fair knowledge in the following areas

- International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association (FIATA) regulations

- International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations

- Local Industry regulations
