About this opportunity:

Ericsson is looking for a diligent and competent Packet core Engineer. As a member of our Automated Operations team, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing maintenance activities, providing technical support, and coordinating daily operational tasks. This role centres on ensuring that our services and resources are efficiently activated, configured, and change. If you are eager to work in an interactive environment and dedicated to guaranteeing the availability and performance of services for our customers, this might be the ideal role for you.

What you will do:

The SRF Engineer is responsible for specific systems by performing the following activities:
Traffic distribution on GGSN with respect to PCRF
IMSI New IR Launch Activities
APN Creation /Modification
Capacity Related activities
Planning of Activities as per Planner Request.
Verifying the MOP/Design.
Execution of the Activity in MW as per CR Details.
Activity execution via Automations.

The skills you bring:

Good Expertise on GSM Protocols (i.e. SS7, ISUP, SIGTRAN, MAP, SCCP, Diameter)
GSM/GPRS/WCDMA/IN Call flows and Call scenarios, Multiple Test Cases, AT and clear understanding.
Good Exposure to SGSN/GGSN/DNS and other Packet Core Nodes of Different Vendors. Understanding and Awareness to 3GPP TS.
Technical and/or functional skills: [Network Nodes/GSM/GPRS/WCDMA/SS7/IN]
The primary purpose is to take full responsibility of Technical Discussions / Self Initiator to Mentor peers for Competence Development / Process understanding and awareness / Audits awareness and follow ups / CR execution activities related to CORE Network.
The position responsible will be required:
To ensure configuration handling on various Packet CORE nodes.
To work well within predefined system support guidelines and ground rules.
To ensure correct working methodology, Best Practices and Continuous improvements in Ways of Working for efficiency improvements and betterment in deliveries.
Execute system configuration related changes as per given access rights.
To ensure MSTOP Processes are followed in the Workplace.
