Responsibilities Why we are looking for youWe are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Technical Writer to enhance our documentation and communication strategies for our innovative retail market products and services. Youre a problem solver with a knack for connecting with people. Youll craft clear, user-friendly technical content (API guides, user manuals, etc.) while contributing your creative expertise to make information visually appealing. What will you enjoy in this roleMust have demonstrated ability to Technical Documentation: Partner with cross-functional teams to build comprehensive product documentation, aiming to minimize onboarding time and technical support reliance. Craft user-friendly, self-service-oriented documentation for diverse clients (technical and non-technical). Tailor content to various client needs, ensuring accuracy and completeness through rigorous quality checks. Continuously improve documentation quality and usability by actively seeking feedback and adapting to changing technology, standards, and internal processes. Demonstrate strong communication skills to translate complex information into clear, understandable content. What will you doTroubleshoot and document solutions for integration challenges, taking ownership of the entire documentation process. Conduct in-depth testing of product features (UI, backend systems, APIs) to gain technical knowledge and enhance documentation accuracy. Utilize developer tools to ensure reliability of documented features. Technical documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, including API docs, user guides, in-product help, and release notes tailored to our retail products. Collaboration: Engage with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather insights and translate technical concepts into language that is easy for consumption. Review: Conduct reviews of content across your assigned projects, ensuring consistency with style guides and alignment with Epsilon s quality standards. Product knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our technology and product features, enabling effective communication and documentation creation. Communication: Maintain professional and clear communication within the team and with external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment. Leadership: Lead technical writing initiatives for assigned projects and products. Troubleshooting: Document solutions for integration challenges to support seamless product deployments. Qualifications 5+ years experience in Technical Writing documenting SaaS / Cloud / Data-driven / Enterprise client software. Proficient in: Wiki, Confluence, MS Word, Agile methodology. Familiarity with tools like FrameMaker, RoboHelp, SnagIt, HTML (desired). Experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), scripting/programming languages (desired). Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL/NoSQL (plus). Hands-on product testing UI/behavior documentation. Proven technical writing experience in the retail market or related fields. Familiarity with SaaS, cloud, and data technology. Experience with Git-based documentation. Expertise in API documentation. Proficiency in tools like RoboHelp, Readme, and SnagIt. Competency in minimalist documentation design and information architecture. Strong organization skills for managing and prioritizing tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to document solutions effectively. Campaign tool experience (highly preferred). Education: Bachelors degree in technical field (CS, Engineering) or related writing discipline (English, Communications). Enrolled in relevant degree program (considered).
