Job Title: Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist Aviation Industry

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for aviation professionals, including pilots, cabin crew, ground staff, and other roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the aviation industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create seamless onboarding experiences for new hires.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment:

• Handle full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring aviation professionals.
• Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the aviation industry.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand workforce requirements and create job descriptions.
• Maintain a strong talent pipeline by networking and engaging with industry professionals.
• Use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR tools to manage candidate databases and recruitment processes.

Onboarding:

• Develop and execute onboarding programs tailored to the unique needs of aviation roles.
• Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, culture, and role expectations.
• Facilitate necessary training and certifications for new hires in collaboration with training teams.
• Ensure all onboarding documentation, including contracts, background checks, and medical clearances, is completed accurately and on time.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires, addressing queries and providing support during their transition.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Track and analyze recruitment and onboarding metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide regular reports to management on hiring progress and onboarding outcomes.

Compliance:

• Ensure all recruitment and onboarding activities comply with aviation regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting recruitment practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in HR or recruitment are a plus.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in recruitment and onboarding, preferably within the aviation industry.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of recruitment practices and aviation industry standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in HR software, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

• Familiarity with aviation-specific roles and certifications.
• Experience in coordinating large-scale recruitment drives.
