We are looking for a Manager Contracts and Receivables

LOCATION: Dwarka, New Delhi

WORK EXPERIENCE: 4+ years

REPORTING: Reports to Accountable Manager

Job description / duties & responsibilities:

The Manager Contracts and Receivables will be responsible for negotiating and managing contracts with clients and vendors in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves ensuring timely invoicing, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining positive client relationships to secure receivables effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Negotiation and Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and legally compliant.
• Coordinate with the legal team to address contract-related risks and clauses.
• Maintain an updated repository of all contracts, agreements, and amendments.
• Resolve disputes related to contractual obligations in a professional and timely manner.

2. Receivables and Payment Collection:

• Generate and review invoices in alignment with service delivery milestones or contractual agreements.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections to meet the company's cash flow goals.
• Develop and maintain a system for tracking receivables and overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to resolve billing issues and payment disputes.
• Provide regular reports on receivables and collections to senior management.

3. Client and Vendor Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term collaboration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contract and payment-related queries.
• Address client concerns effectively, ensuring high satisfaction and trust.

4. Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure all contracts and payment practices comply with industry standards, legal regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare periodic reports on contract status, payment collection progress, and potential risks.
• Propose process improvements to enhance contract negotiation and payment collection efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in business administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in contract management, negotiation, and payment collections, preferably in the aviation or MRO industry.
• Strong understanding of aviation contracts, regulatory compliance, and financial principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
