Technical Architect - PHP (11-15 yrs)

Job Description :

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Architecture & Design :

- Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure PHP-based applications.

- Define architectural best practices, coding standards, and guidelines for development.

- Optimize application performance, database queries, and caching mechanisms.

- Ensure adherence to SOLID principles, design patterns, and microservices architecture.

2. Development & Technical Leadership :

- Hands-on development using PHP 7+, Laravel/Yii/CakePHP frameworks.

- Guide the team in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

- Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) using PHPUnit, Mockery, etc.

- Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

3. Cloud & Database Management :

- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Route 53, RDS, etc.).

- Expertise in MySQL/PostgreSQL (RDBMS) and MongoDB/Cassandra/CouchDB (NoSQL).

- Perform database tuning, query optimization, and performance improvements.

4. Security & Scalability :

- Implement security best practices: OWASP guidelines, authentication, encryption, and API security.

- Ensure horizontal scaling, load balancing, and high availability in cloud-based applications.

- Manage asynchronous processing, event-driven architecture, and real-time updates.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Mentorship :

- Work closely with Product Managers, DevOps, QA, and UX teams.

- Conduct code reviews, and technical discussions, and mentor junior developers.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology roadmap and innovation strategies.

Desired Skills :

- 11-15 years of experience in PHP development with strong expertise in Laravel/Yii.

- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and microservices.

- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and query optimization.

- Proficiency in AWS cloud services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving skills, leadership capabilities, and experience mentoring teams.

- Excellent understanding of RESTful API design, and web security principles.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
