Cyber Sec Archt/Engr II

We are looking for an innovative and forward-thinking cybersecurity engineer to enhance solutions that address the unique security challenges faced by industrial businesses.

The Cybersecurity Architect / Engineer will be joining the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence and
Innovation team, contributing to the development and enhancement of various cybersecurity
solutions, evaluating third-party cybersecurity solutions, conducting qualification and testing, and
assisting in the creation of security training materials.

Responsibilities of the Position

1. Responsible for co-operating cybersecurity lab, ensuring systems are well-maintained
and available, as business requires.
2. Perform Application and System administration tasks required to keep the Lab
operational at industry standard level
3. Contribute to the development of the Cyber Security services portfolio
4. Plan, implement, manage, and monitor various cyber security technologies and
proficiency with the following: Anti-Virus, Application/Device Control, HIPS/EDR, Network
IDS/IPS, Log/Packet Analysis, Vulnerability management, User activity monitoring,
Cryptography, SIEM, etc.
5. Troubleshooting security and network problems; testing and identifying network and
system vulnerabilities
6. Develop cybersecurity training materials, courses, or educational content, especially
within Cybersecurity for Operational Technology (OT) environments.
7. Generate clear, understandable component designs, documentation, and deployment
guides.
8. Perform system test and qualification activities.
9. Liaison with HON Corp IT to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.

Bachelor s degree in a computer related field such as Computer Science, Computer information systems, electronics or, in lieu of degree, 5 years of directly related experience.

Strong understanding of OT systems, protocols (e.g., SCADA, PLCs, DCS, etc), and their cybersecurity challenges.

Experience in working with OT security tools, network monitoring, and threat detection in industrial environments

Previous experience in cybersecurity roles, such as Security Analyst, Security Engineer, or similar position, is highly desirable.

Experience in C#, .NET OR JavaScript / NodeJS, HTML5 OR Python, PowerShell, bash

Working experience with virtualization, networking, open source and Microsoft Ability to stay current with the latest developments in both OT and IT cybersecurity

Able to create and deliver interactive, engaging, and effective cybersecurity training content.

5 years troubleshooting skills to resolve basic network and application or system integration issues.

5 years of experience with Cyber Security Technologies

Deep knowledge of OT cybersecurity best practices, industry standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443, NER-CIP, etc.)

Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, including risk management, threat modeling, incident response, and vulnerability management

Diagnostic and analytical skills including problem solving, management of priorities and self direction to resolve complex issues

CISSP Certification or related security certification

Knowledge of IT/OT Security Technical regulations and requirements

Industry standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, ISA 99, ISO 27000, NERC-CIP

Industry best practices, such NIST 800 series COMPETENCIES

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity experts, engineers and OT specialists.

Strong writing skills for creating clear, concise, and well-structured training documentation and materials

Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality and accurate content

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt training content to meet the evolving needs of the OT cybersecurity.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage talks with minimal supervision

Customer-oriented, demonstrating a strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of clients with professionalism and attention to detail
