Job Description
The Test Requirements Engineers are writing test cases, implement test cases as automated test, run test campaigns and report defects to the development teams to ensure a high quality product to the customer.
Duties and responsibilities The Test Requirements Engineer will have as main tasks and responsibilities:
- Analysis of functional specifications
- Write test cases and implement automated test cases
- Perform manual tests for first run and not automatable tests
- Maintain the automatic test database
- Problem identification, report and management
- Discuss problem resolution with development team
- Create and maintain technical documentation to enrich the team s collective know-how
- As part of the multidisciplinary agile team, work with high level of collaboration, autonomy, and ownership, actively participating on sprint planning, reviews, dailies, and retrospectives, contributing with the constant evolution of the development methodology
- Propose testing strategies and implementation for continuously improve product quality
- Good Knowledge of tests environments
- Passionate with advanced network and virtualization solutions
- Software development experience: Python, Shell, Java
- Operating systems: knowledge of Linux (simple administration and installation)
- Good knowledge in test and measurement equipments.
- Open source minded
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
- Autonomous, rigorous, and delivery-oriented with a commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work
- Willingness to work in agile environment
- Proven ability to work well within a team
- Potential and willingness for personal development and improvement
- Ability to work in an international environment
