Role Description - This is a full-time on-site Sales Manager role located in Bangalore.
- The Sales Manager will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, managing a team of sales representatives, identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and maintaining customer relationships.
Qualifications:

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and market share targets for solar inverters.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Set and monitor sales targets for the team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Motivate the team to exceed sales goals.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar inverter market, including residential, commercial, and industrial segments. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, installers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead generation and conversion. Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert advice on solar inverter solutions. Sales Operations: Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Maintain accurate sales records and reports using CRM software.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to develop effective sales materials and presentations. Ensure adherence to company sales policies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the solar energy or related industry (solar inverters, electrical equipment, etc.). Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of the solar energy market and solar inverter technology. Excellent sales management, business development, and relationship management skills. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel as needed within the region. Strong network of contacts within the solar industry is a significant plus.
