Job Description

The Manager - Talent Acquisition & HR Operations will lead the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role also involves managing training and development programs, overseeing learning and development initiatives, implementing performance management systems, leading the induction process for new hires, and defining KRAs for employees to ensure performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  1. Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  2. Manage the recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  3. Collaborate with department heads to identify manpower needs and align hiring with workforce planning.
  4. Drive employer branding initiatives to position the organization as a preferred employer.

Training & Development (T&D):

  1. Design and implement training programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities.
  2. Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) in collaboration with department managers.
  3. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.

Learning & Development (L&D):

  1. Develop L&D strategies that align with organizational goals and employee career growth.
  2. Create e-learning modules, leadership development programs, and workshops.
  3. Measure the impact of learning interventions and maintain L&D metrics.

Performance Management System (PMS):

  1. Oversee the implementation of the performance management framework across departments.
  2. Guide managers and employees through goal setting, mid-year reviews, and appraisals.
  3. Ensure PMS processes are transparent, unbiased, and aligned with KRAs and organizational objectives.

Induction & Onboarding:

  1. Lead the induction process to ensure seamless onboarding for new employees.
  2. Introduce new hires to company policies, culture, and expectations.
  3. Collect feedback from new hires to continuously enhance the onboarding experience.

Key Result Areas (KRA) and Metrics:

  1. Define and update KRAs for all roles in consultation with functional heads.
  2. Ensure that KRAs are aligned with organizational strategy and performance metrics.
  3. Monitor and review KRA achievement to identify high performers and areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of HR experience with expertise in Talent Acquisition, T&D, L&D, PMS, and related areas.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing HR frameworks and initiatives.
  • Experience with HR software, LMS, and ATS tools.

Skills Required:

  1. Core Competencies:
    • Talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
    • Training and development methodologies.
    • Performance management and goal-setting frameworks.
    • Employee engagement and retention strategies.
  2. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in HRMS, ATS, and L&D platforms.
    • Familiarity with e-learning tools and content creation.
  3. Behavioral Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making expertise.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Recruitment metrics: Time-to-hire, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction.
  • Training effectiveness: Post-training feedback and improvement in employee performance.
  • L&D success: Participation rates and knowledge retention.
  • PMS outcomes: Timely completion of appraisals and performance ratings distribution.
  • Onboarding feedback: Employee satisfaction scores for induction.
