Industrial Engineer

Job Title: Industrial Engineer (Fresher)
Location: Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Assist in planning and executing improvement projects in production and process design.
• Work closely with different departments to ensure timely completion of projects.

Method Study & Work Study:

• Observe and analyze current production methods to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports on time studies and suggest better methods to increase productivity.

Layout Design:

• Help design and improve the layout of machinery, equipment, and workstations for optimal workflow.
• Ensure the layout supports efficient material handling and movement.

Process Improvement:

• Support initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality in jewelry production.
• Provide suggestions for improving manufacturing processes to minimize production costs.

Collaboration:

• Work with production managers, quality control, and design teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide daily reports on tasks and learnings to the supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in related field.
• Knowledge of project management tools and methods.
• Basic understanding of method study and work study techniques.
• Familiarity with layout design concepts and principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
