About the Role :
We are seeking a seasoned Director - FP&A and MIS to lead financial planning and analysis for a business of at least $1 billion. The ideal candidate will drive strategic financial decision-making, enhance financial reporting capabilities, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Planning & Analysis :
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Ensure alignment of financial strategies with organizational goals.
Management Information Systems (MIS) :
- Develop and manage comprehensive MIS frameworks to provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial reports.
- Implement advanced reporting tools and dashboards for data visualization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize MIS processes and systems.
Business Partnering :
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
- Collaborate across departments to understand business drivers and their financial impact.
Performance Monitoring :
- Monitor KPIs, financial metrics, and variance analyses to track business performance.
- Design and implement robust financial models to evaluate business scenarios.
Compliance & Risk Management :
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Team Leadership :
- Build and lead a high-performing FP&A and MIS team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education: MBA (Full-Time) from a Tier 1 college or Chartered Accountant (CA).
Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years in Financial Planning & Analysis and MIS.
- Proven experience in managing financial operations for businesses with revenues exceeding $1 billion.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MIS tools, and advanced Excel.
Leadership Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Business Acumen:
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, market trends, and business strategy.
- Ability to provide strategic insights and drive value creation.
