Job Description

Role Overview:

Elixia Inc. is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager/Senior Sales Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with 10-15 years of experience in the logistics domain (a must), with SaaS/tech sales experience being a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will be passionate about identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, driving growth through client engagement, and building lasting relationships. This position requires expertise in SaaS sales, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of closing deals while delivering tailored solutions to clients.


Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Sales Execution:

  • Identify and pursue new leads across industries, focusing on opportunities for Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups and engagement with prospects.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the value and ROI of Elixias solutions to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and present customized solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

Relationship Building & Account Management:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers to establish trust and credibility.
  • Understand client pain points, industry challenges, and goals to position Elixias products as the best-fit solutions.
  • Maintain strong post-sales relationships to drive customer satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Analyze sales metrics and prepare detailed reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize sales approaches and refine strategies.

Travel & Collaboration:

  • Travel across India to generate leads, meet clients, and attend industry events or trade shows.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Lead and cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliverables.

Expected Skills & Competencies:

Mandatory:

  • Proven experience in Logistics sales (10 - 15 years), with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and CRM tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of AI tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations and craft persuasive proposals.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Knowledge of TMS solutions and the logistics domain is highly desirable.
  • Capability to manage complex sales cycles and engage with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with C-level executives and presenting solutions at a strategic level.
  • Familiarity with selling in logistics or supply chain domains.
  • 5 to 6 yrs of Saas/Tech sales experience
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales, or Sandler Sales.

Requirements:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree.
  • 10-15 years of experience in logistics sales.
  • Saas/Tech sales experience will be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new tools and technologies.
