Software Tester/Senior Tester (2-4 yrs)

Role Overview :

The Senior Software Tester/Software Tester will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software solutions across web and mobile platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of business and customer requirements, strong documentation, testing capabilities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to improving the quality of software products.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Analysis & Collaboration :

- Understand business/customer requirements thoroughly.

- Ensure clear communication between business and technical teams.

Test Planning & Documentation :

- Develop test strategies and cases tailored to client-specific needs.

- Maintain thorough documentation for end-to-end testing coverage.

- Review and provide feedback on technical and business documentation.

Manual & Automated Testing :

- Execute manual tests for web and mobile platforms.

- Report defects, collaborate with development teams, and ensure closure.

- Create and run automated regression test suites for each release.

Defect Tracking & Reporting :

- Track and resolve defects, ensuring timely updates to management.

- Provide daily status reports and feedback for process improvements.

Project Management :

- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

- Adhere to defined timelines for task completion.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated on new testing tools and technologies.

- Suggest system improvements to enhance product quality.

Automation & Efficiency :

- Write and run automation scripts for regression tests.

- Optimize automation frameworks with the technical team.
