Job Description

Summary:
The role of a Delegate Acquisition Lead is to identify, research, and contact senior-level executives across various business and industry sectors. The objective is to present an appropriate sales proposition to decision-makers with the goal of securing paid delegate registrations for our conferences while expanding the database of potential leads.

Salary: As per Industry Standards + Opportunity to get Good Variable Amount based on measurable parameters.

The Variables will be based on your Performance and on the Target completion and shall be paid at the end of the conference.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research through calls, public platforms like Google, and company websites to identify companies that can be potential delegates for all our conferences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential companies and industry professionals to secure delegate participation.
  • Communicate effectively to showcase the value and benefits of the conference to potential delegates.
  • Maintain and update a database of potential leads while tracking progress and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and improve delegate acquisition strategies.
  • Close delegate registrations by coordinating with the back office to provide necessary details and ensure payment collection.
  • Work towards achieving targets by identifying and bringing in companies that have not previously participated in our conferences.

Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelors degree with a minimum score of 70% in fields such as Marketing, Business, Communication, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Previous experience in delegate acquisition, sales, or event marketing is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage potential attendees effectively.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills to persuade potential attendees to register for the event.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Networking: Good networking skills to build and maintain relationships with potential attendees and industry professionals.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software, email marketing tools, and other relevant software applications.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and strategies based on market feedback and analysis.

Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
