Role: Executive-Research &Development

Skills:

• Proven experience in Research & Development (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) within the food industry, preferably with expertise in the baking sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including compliance with FSSAI regulations.
• Strong team collaboration and leadership abilities to effectively manage and guide the R&D team.
• Proficient in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of laboratory functions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and maintain professional relationships across departments.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications relevant to R&D and reporting.
• Fundamental knowledge of ingredient analysis and quality control processes for food products.

Responsibilities:

Must-Have Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the development and revamping of products, working both collaboratively with team members and as an individual contributor.
2. Accountable for nutritional value calculations, lab documentation, R&D process documentation, and creating SOPs related to the work.
3. Ensure the R&D lab facilities and equipment are well-organized, maintained, and operational.
4. Maintain and organize product samples, conducting spot checks for quality review.
5. Possess basic knowledge of ingredient analysis and collaborate with the quality assurance team to achieve customer satisfaction goals.
6. Provide troubleshooting support for products within the companys portfolio.

Good-to-Have Responsibilities:

1. Apply scientific knowledge in food safety, quality, and nutrition to contribute to product registration and new product development.
2. Develop and implement processes, programs, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulations for raw materials, finished products, and import/export activities.
3. Monitor and understand regulations related to food safety, quality, purchase, manufacturing and marketing authorization of ingredients, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
