Role & Responsibililities :
- Spearhead the development and design of advanced data capabilities and infrastructure to efficiently access and leverage internal, third-party, and partner data for powering data-driven products and solutions.
- Architect cloud-native data pipelines, transfer mechanisms, and compliance frameworks to support secure and efficient data usage.
- Define data capability and infrastructure requirements aligned with evolving product strategies and implement solutions that are inherently cloud-native.
- Understand business strategies, data needs, and information infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with new and ongoing service offerings.
- Collaborate with data management, governance, and technical teams to ensure long-term sustainability and compliance of information assets.
- Design and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap, incorporating insights from data strategy and management teams, to meet the enterprise's strategic goals.
- Identify and address gaps or opportunities within existing data capabilities and infrastructure, providing expert guidance and solutions to resolve inefficiencies.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record in roles such as Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Software Engineer, with extensive expertise in data engineering and architecture.
- Solid understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), analytics, and data product development, including model creation and governance practices.
- Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and AWS, with deep architectural proficiency.
- Expertise in large-scale big data ecosystems, including Hadoop and Spark, and their enterprise implementations.
- Skilled in designing scalable and compliant data infrastructures tailored for cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of data hygiene practices, anonymization techniques, and identity resolution mechanisms.
- Familiarity with industry standards for data collection, usage, and governance to ensure ethical and efficient data handling.
- Proven ability to align data strategies with overarching business objectives, driving organizational growth and innovation.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional projects with exceptional - project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
