As a Senior Security Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring secure delivery of cutting-edge technology initiatives across web, mobile, and cloud platforms. Leading projects that bridge business ambitions and security requirements, you'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders, translate best practices into actionable strategies, and provide expert guidance on risk management.

Some of the key responsibilities will include :

- Serving as the primary point of contact for security, providing expert advice on security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks across change initiatives and ongoing operations.

- Ensuring that technical and solution designs align with security controls, effectively communicating the security stance of designs and collaborating with platform teams to address any identified gaps.

- Collaborating with first-line risk and technology teams to evaluate the impact of control gaps that cannot be redressed.

- Representing enterprise security at technical design authorities to ensure proposed solutions adhere to security best practices, working towards resolution of any security concerns.

- Working closely with various enterprise security teams to minimize friction, integrate necessary security measures for new technologies, and ensure security is embedded early in the development lifecycle.

To be eligible for this role you will require :

- Over 12 years of experience in Cyber Security, with at least 4 years as a Security Consultant delivering successful projects.

- A Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent professional qualifications, along with recognized certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CCSK.

- Proven ability to collaborate with international stakeholders, particularly those from the UK.

- Extensive background in business-facing IT and Cyber Security roles, ideally in regulated environments.

- Strong expertise in securing applications, infrastructure, and networks.

- In-depth experience with cloud and hybrid cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models, along with mobile security.

- Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Expertise in securing applications, infrastructure, and networks, covering cyber/web security, threat management, data security, IDAM, mobile security, and cryptography.

- Strong understanding of Azure security, with additional knowledge of M365/Microsoft Power Platform security a plus.

- Familiarity with infrastructure and application security requirements, including vulnerability management, patching, and malware protection.

- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence using risk-based reasoning and clear communication.

- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks like ISF, NIST 800-53, and CIS 7.1, with familiarity in pension and investment industry regulations.

Additional Skills :

- Expertise in translating complex security concepts into simple designs and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Highly organized with excellent prioritization, planning, and multitasking skills, handling complex deliverables.

- Proven problem-solving, analytical skills, and a creative approach to solution design, with a strong risk mindset for identifying and mitigating risks.
